Getting a little behind!

I feel like so much time has passed when really it has only been a couple weeks. I guess we have just been really lucky to have experienced so much in so little time! We went on a family vacation with Chris's family for his parents anniversary. We went to the Boston temple and on a driving tour of Boston and then up to our hotel in Rhode Island. The next day we spent at the beach, flying our kite (despite the fact that we weren't allowed to) and boogie boarded and ate some delicious soft frozen lemonade. Our last day we went on a cliff walk with giant, old mansions on one side and breath taking cliffs with huge black rocks and crashing water. It was so beautiful! Then a few days later, the assisted living home where Chris works, sponsored a hot air balloon night! The residents went up and since we volunteered, we got to go up too! It was really amazing seeing how the balloon worked and also accomplishing one of my life goals. Then the next day we got to go into New York City to see the broadway show Wicked!! Even though we had car troubles and it was pouring rain, we still made it just in time. The show was absolutely amazing and we would totally love to go again. Our favorite songs/scenes were Defying Gravity and For Good. Then the next morning we woke up and began our 2700 mile road trip out west! I will write more about that later =]
