Calvin might be the biggest/oldest baby ever to be blessed in the Mormon church. Most are sleepy little newborns, about 3-6 weeks old... not 3 months. haha, but summer is a busy time & that's what worked for our families. But anyway... it was a very special day!
The blessing Calvin received from his father was very simple and sweet. I'm so grateful for my family and this precious little boy who brings so much joy to our life.
We tried for about 5 minutes to get Cal to look at the camera for our family photo... We even recruited 10+ kids to make crazy noises, but that sidewalk must have been more interesting!
So Dad invented a new trick to force Cal to look... the squishy face!
The weather was absolutely perfect and we all enjoyed a yummy brunch picnic afterwards, complete with Krispy Kremes, homemade pretzel rolls, fruit salad, and a giant parfait. We are so grateful to have such a big, wonderful family who loves and support us. You are one very lucky little man, Calvin!
Yay! How fun! And a little boy who is practically my nephew wasn't blessed until he was almost a YEAR old, so don't worry about Cal being 3 months!
