Calvin is 10 Months.

Calvin is TEN months and is...

  • Throwing things
  • Using everything as a walker (like putting his hands on books, boxes, toys, etc. and then walking/bear crawling)
  • Waking up at 6am (or earlier...)
  • Pushing cars and balls and following them
  • Clapping! (The cutest thing I've ever seen)
  • Checking out girls at the store. His head follows them like an owl and then he smiles and claps.
  • Turning book pages faster than I can read
  • Saying a few new sounds like gaga and tata
  • Holding furniture and dancing/bobbing up and down
  • Speed crawling while letting out a baby battle cry
  • Putting his head down while speed crawling. We call it his rhino charge. (Occasionally resulting in banging his head on doors and furniture)
  • Taking about 6 steps (if we encourage him) and belly flopping into arms
  • Eating anything and everything we eat
  • Weighing: 20+ pounds ish?
  • Still wearing size 3 diapers, 9-12 month clothes and size 5 shoes

Dislikes:
  • Getting dressed or undressed
  • Staying on his back during diaper changes
  • When we hide remotes and phones
  • Going for 1 hour without food... the boy wants to eat all.day.long.
  • Falling asleep (unless he's rocked or fed. So much for all that sleep training for the past 9 months...)

Likes:
  • Drinking out of a Camelbak waterbottle
  • Puffs, yogurt, green smoothies, mac n' cheese, green beans, chicken... everything.
  • When we brush his teeth
  • Sophie the giraffe teether toy
  • Giving big open mouth kisses (sometimes with teeth)
  • Attacking mom (aka: giving me "loves" which means drool in eyes, my ears, fingers up my noses, slapping my face like a drum and squealing with joy)
  • Blowing raspberries on the sliding glass door
  • Standing up in the bathtub and pulling out the drain stopper
  • Eating everything, including bugs, phone chargers & leftover food around his highchair
  • Pushing buttons
  • Puppy walker toy and anything that makes noise or lights up
  • Hanging upside down by his toes
