Calvin is One.

We made it. 365 days. 12 months. One year!

Calvin is both the most challenging yet most wonderful part of our life. And honestly, how could you not fall in love with this face every day?!

The big one year milestone includes:

• walking everywhere like a pro!
• waving to everyone in the store, especially pretty girls
• not really saying any real words yet, but does say mama & dada
• climbing up the stairs (& then falling down... can't quite figure out the down part)
• playing fetch with balls and toys
• pointing at everything
• giving kisses (aka: loves)
• finding body parts, like nose, eyes, mouth
• is really ticklish and has the cutest laugh in the world
• still sucking his thumb when he's tired, hungry, or just because
• eating everything, both food and non-food gross things
• splashing in water
• doing anything outside, slowly getting used to the grass
• nicknames: Cal, Calico Joe, NuggaBug, Calz, Calzone, Cal-O, Calosaurus, Callarina (when he squeals/whines like a girl) 
• Weight: 21 pounds
• Height: 30 inches
• FOUR teeth! (2 top, 2 bottom)

Dislikes:

• waking up
• the vacuum & loud noises (like the blender)
• sitting still to get his diaper changed or getting dressed
• being locked in or out 
• hats (he refuses to wear them & hates when other people do too)
• getting out of the bathtub (it's a little chilly, I don't blame him!)

Likes:

• throwing balls (throwing everything)
• digging in trashcans
• iPhones, iPads, remotes, computers, cords, etc.
• emptying drawers, buckets, baskets, purses, bags of food
• drinking from a Camelbak waterbottle
• carrying large sticks
• being chased
• reading books
• keys
• being tossed, thrown, twirled & other crazy things with dad
• shoes
• blueberries
• smoothies
• chicken nuggets
• yogurt bites
• beans
• gold fish
• going out to eat (Chipotle, Taco Bell, Piada, King Gyros, pizza, etc.)
