We got to take another trip to DC! (We've been once in the summer for the Fourth of July and once in the spring for Cherry Blossoms...sort of.)
But anyway, this time was less about our site-seeing and more about spending time with some of our best friends! My friend, Hillary, was in town for work and stayed extra so we could hang out. And Chris's best friend David lives north of D.C. so we stayed with him and it was the perfect long weekend.
We definitely packed a lot into 3 days!
We visited Martin Luther King, Jr...
I accomplished a Life Goal by holding One Million Dollars in my hands!
We toured the U.S Mint...
We got a special VIP roof access view of the U.S. Capitol (thanks to one of my work friends!)
We explored the botanical gardens...
We visited America's Christmas Tree...
We took a tour of the U.S. Capitol Building...
We visited Arlington National Cemetery...
Including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a very somber and special experience.
Lastly, we got super cheap ($10) tickets to see a Washington Wizards basketball game! They aren't the best NBA team ever, hah, but they did win us some free Chick-Fil-A! And they also caught our sweet Gangnam Style dance skills on the jumotron so that made our night pretty memorable.
We sure love DC... but mostly, we just love spending time with our friends! They're the greatest.

So pretty! We should be there next spring!! :))
