For Auld Lang Syne

Here's some highlights of our "2013 annual Christmas card/letter" (that we never sent.) Better shared with some, than none... right?

Natalie...
  • Welcomed a new baby nephew, Landen, in February & a new baby niece, Eliana, in November!
  • Won TWO March Madness brackets, thanks to Louisville!
  • Quit my stable, salary job to focus full-time on the business
  • Traveled to southern Florida & Las Vegas for work (& got to spend a little extra fun time in each place with friends)
  • Shot my first bullseye with my compound bow
  • Revived an old habit / love of reading! (Thanks to Kindle & free digital library books)
  • Attended the wedding of my niece, Keely
  • Enjoyed some time in NYC with friends around the holidays

Husband...
  • Finished his first semester of graduate school, pursuing a master's degree in athletic administration
  • Started his first season coaching college football at Denison University
  • Keasha (his sister) got engaged!
  • Helped A LOT with the sales of my business & learned how to do virtual tours
  • Learned a few new mechanic skills while fixing his car and motorcycle
  • Spent many, many, many hours bow hunting... and got deer!

We...
  • Bought a second car (which has been SO convenient)
  • Watched a lot of Downton Abbey and Suits
  • Took a mini trip to Washington DC to visit our friend, David... & the Cherry Blossoms
  • Hosted our first Couch Surfer (we've always been the guests)
  • Moved to a townhouse, closer to Columbus (meaning we also moved to a new church... bittersweet. We still miss our old friends a lot!)
  • Traveled to Germany for a family reunion + visited Finland (Helsinki), Italy (Rome, Naples, Ischia, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Pompeii), Poland (Auschwitz), Czech Republic (Prague), Austria (Salzburg), Spain (San Sebastian, Pamplona, Barcelona, Seville), and Morocco, Africa!
  • Celebrated our FIVE-Year Anniversary
  • Lastly and most importantly... conceived a BABY BOY! (Coming April 2014)

Even with all the fun adventures, travels, and great memories of 2013,  I have a feeling this new year will be even better! ...Just in a completely different way :)
