Even though I miss my floppy, snuggly, sleepy newborn... I am loving this new stage! Calvin is so much more interactive and alert. He makes eye contact all the time and I love watching him learn and experience new things, like feeling Dad's scratchy beard. haha

- Still exclusively breastfeeding and becoming quite the master at multiple positions (even straddling my leg and sitting up while eating! So grown up.)
- Sleeping about 9 hours at night with one 4am feeding (usually)
- NOT good at napping. He sleeps for about 30 minutes and then wakes up. Sometimes I can get him to go back to sleep, but he's really inconsistent. The swing and the Moby are lifesavers.
- Holding up his head ALMOST perfectly. (Still a little bobbly when he's tired)
- Making drastic improvement during tummy time. He lifts his head, pushes up with his arms and the doctor says his skills are equivalent to a FOUR-month-old!
- Sitting up when we hold his fingers or with a little help from the couch, or the Bumbo
- Rolling over from tummy to back.
- Pushing down on his legs to stand when he hold him
- Focusing and tracking objects frequently
- Smiling a lot more often! He loves different noises & changes in pitch when we talk.
- Kicking his legs and swatting toys.
- Grabbing and pulling Mom's hair.
- Making lots of new noises like cooing, growling and my personal favorite: howling.
- Wearing Size 2 diapers, some 3-month clothes and even some 6-month clothes! (depending on the brand.)
- Weight: 12.14 pounds
- Height: 23.3 inches
- Head size: 15.8 inches
Dislikes:
- Saline drops and the snot-snucker (Mom hates this too. His cry is so pitiful, but he has been really congested and it impacts both sleeping and eating.)
- Naps (in his bed)
- Shots
- Dad's tiger noises
- The sound of velcro
- Pooping
