2010 Highlights

TRIBUTE to 2010

some of my favorite things about the year 2010

January- Celebrating my 21st Birthday in Las Vegas, skydiving, laying out at Mandalay Bay, shopping and playing a few hands of Black Jack.

February-Getting surprised for Valentine's Day with dinner at Tepenyaki Grill! Plus chocolate fondue dessert at The Melting Pot too!

March- Spring Break vacationing to California with our friends Lauren and David: visiting Hollywood, Laguna Beach, Disneyland and eating lots of Pink Berry + hosting the Mountain West Regional PR Conference.

April-Attending Christopher's Colorado Springs Mission Reunion, Receiving the A-Pin Award from the College of HASS & Petting a Zebra/Donkey at the Logan Zoo.

May- Learning DSLR photography with my new Nikon, Hiking in Moab & Getting hired for TWO PR & Marketing jobs: USU Cooperative Extension and Harris Research, Inc.

June- Running the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay, Loving to FaceTime on our new iPhone4s & welcoming my new niece Abigail!

July- Celebrating our 2 year anniversary with the traditional free slurpies (7-11), dinner at Le Nonne & some relaxing fly-fishing & sunbathing... PLUS Running a MARATHON (26.2 miles) in San Francisco & welcoming my new niece Hallie!

August- Providing service to the villages of rural Guatemala by donating an ambulance, building a retaining wall, teaching classes and helping build a school plus starting our senior year of college at Utah State.

September- Modeling for the Huntsman School at USU, iFrogz & Invisalign Orthodontics, plus helping produce 3 national TV commercials & casting Christopher as an actor.

October- Beating BYU in football, Painting myself & getting on ESPN, Running the Vegas Ragnar Relay, Winning a national scholarship, Photographing Yellowstone, Punching my CEO in the face and winning $120 at my work costume party for being a skydiver.

November- Celebrating Christopher's 25th birthday with an acoustic guitar, Meeting Kirby Heyborne, Winning the Powderpuff Championship & Winning Zombies v. Humans.

December- Getting an A in Media Law, Visiting the Bodies Exhibit, Watching the Ball drop on New Years Eve in Times Square: including kissing, being interviewed on NBC, confetti & free stuff from Nivea.

2010 was a great year. We are so grateful that we had so many wonderful opportunities! I'll be honest and say our second year of marriage was definitely better than the first and I'm looking forward to our exciting future together :)  2011, here we come!
