This post is for all the people who listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving, or even worse... before Halloween (gasp).
Now, don't get me wrong, I am no Grinch. Heck, even my name means "Christmas child." But SOMEONE has to stick up for Thanksgiving! It's one of the best holidays! So I am a strict believer in NO Christmas music or decorations until Black Friday (one more reason to love this day).
Though difficult at times, this rule is necessary because it allows for more emphasis and focus on Thanksgiving AND a stronger anticipation for the Christmas season. I AM genuinely excited to start blaring the best of Mariah Carey and Michael Buble... but in a world of instant gratification, it's good to make yourself wait.
For those of you who need some help, here is my "Approved November Playlist" to help you make it through the next few weeks.
