Favorite Christmas Project, Ever

I LOVED working on this project with my mom and sister. First, I spent all day making Cake Pops. I was extra excited because we got red and green melting chips and a super awesome Christmas sprinkle set. Then we decided that since we invested so much time in them, we needed a special display. So we took a Styrofoam cone, wrapped it in a green table cloth, found a stick outside and connected it to a wrapped box, then added a $.25 sparkly star to the top. My favorite part about it is that the Cake Pops look like a little ornaments. It was definitely a big hit at our family Christmas party... especially for all the kids, and my husband. He's a big fan of Cake Pops!

In case you need the recipe:

Ingredients:
- 1 Box Chocolate Cake Mix
- 1 Can Cream Cheese Frosting
- 2 Bags Chocolate Melting Chips (or Almond Bark)
- 1 package of lolipop sticks



1. Bake cake according to the box (you can also substitute any flavor)
2. Let cool for about 10 minutes
3. Take a fork and scrap cake in a giant bowl, use fork to crumble cake
4. Add can of frosting, mix until consistency is even
5. Roll into small balls and place on cookie sheet

6. Add lolipop sticks
7. Freeze overnight
8. Melt chocolate in microwave (on defrost setting), stir every 30-60 seconds until melted
9. Dip cake balls in chocolate
10. Add sprinkles
11. Let harden for 3-5 minutes

12. Enjoy!
