Lately, we've been having quite the encounter with the law. And it bugs me because all these fines are eating away at our Christmas present fund!! We have also been losing everything. I think I started all the bad luck...
- Parking ticket for "obstructing street view" - $15
- Hunting ticket for shooting one too many female ducks - $100
- Boot for parking a scooter in the Institute Parking Lot - $75
- A couple from Ohio are suing me from a car accident back in high school - Thankfully covered by State Farm Insurance! But still stressful with upcoming court dates in Ohio
- Lost my favorite black belt
- We BOTH lost our student IDs
- Can't find my media law study guide...
But while these unfortunate events have been troubling... we were also very fortunate at my work Christmas Party. By participating in games and singing kareoke, we won over $100! We were so excited, even though we got SECOND place in the balloon popping game. We just couldn't seem to pop the one back-to-back! But it was also quite entertaining (and I'm very glad I wore black tights!) Plus the food was delicious! We always have so much fun at work parties- it helped make up for our recent misfortunes.
